I sympathise with Makosi 3 attempts at vq Spearhead Peak today and every time at approx a hour into vq with over 50% done I dc. My partner who is on same connection managed to stay in game just once. I queried BT they confirmed it was not them and frankly they seemed quite miffed I even thought it was them. We run seperately, 3 gws ac's from our connection with no problems at all till now. I dont understand why anet wont do anything dont they read Guru and whats with all the crappy stuff they want with the tickets its pants

Thunderhead Keep earlier today was absolute horror! I have never experienced such a lag, and it wasn't just me. I could not move or type in chan, I restarted GW and still could not do anything. I switched to another char and then it unblocked.

Aye, same problems experienced in my alliance. We were in The Deep a couple days ago, 2 rooms from Kanaxai and 5 out of our group of 12, d/c all with around 20-50k ping and didn't have the option of reconnecting. Needless to to say there was a lot of swearing on our vent. It wouldn't be so bad if it was just one area but this is happening all over the world as comfirmed by our members who range from Europe, South Africa, Singapore and Australia.

I'm in America, east coast, and I am suffering from "Random Lagmonster" as well.
I thought I was going insane, until I asked others if they were lagging when I lagged.
They asserted that they too were lagging, severely, every single time I suffered from lag.
So unless if these numerous people all attached to different server systems using different ISPs are magically having similar issues with their connections it's on the ANET side.
It is very aggravating, but as I'm not paying to play this then um...yeah...do I have room to complain?
I do feel that it's putting NCSoft and ANET into a bad light. I'm waiting for something like a PC Gamer or whatever magazine to scoop up these network problems, point them out, trot it around and then try to force an answer out of ANET as to what the hell is going on.

havnt been able to get in the game for months now. Game usually gets stuck after character select when its loading me in, and if it does get in the game has a unplayable ping. Tried tech support and they try to pass the blame to me but i get perfect pings for all the other online games i play. Only cause has to be at GW end.

Also been having this issue for several months now, where I'd get constant err7s upon loading or zoning. Playing the game was nothing short of annoying what with having to reconnect/relogin so frequently. Had a few, rare err7 free days recently but for the most part it's still really bad. Have to say that in all 4 years of playing GW, I've never had these issues until early-mid of this year.

Last few days I've had random "spasms" of Error 7s. My ping is normal and connectivity good for hours, and then all of a sudden, I'll error 7 multiple times when zoning. It lasts for about a minute and then everything is fine again. Thing is, it only happens on one account at a time. I'll be dual clienting, one account will make the transition fine, the other will error out. Same connection, 2 accounts, one error. Ventrilo, web browsing, etc do not suffer any lag during this time. Oh and I'm in the UK.

Hahaha.
This morning my whole alliance dc'd. No joke. We were having an event to meet some of the new guilds and I dc'd. Got back on and people were all asking in alliance who all had dc'd. After a few minutes of conversation, we realized that all 64 of the active alliance members had dc'd.
But somehow.....it's my fault or my ISP's fault. Yea.....right.

The past week i've been experiencing a lot of large lagouts and disconnects, at least once daily.
It was definately focused on british connections, but yeah last night 5 of our HA team dc'd at the same time inc several from europe.

I've been having >20sec freezes and >20k pings about every 30min on average in the last few days, sometimes accompanied by dc's. It's been bad like this, sometimes worse (such as several >45k pings a week ago) since about the Aug 6 update. I have no lag problems with any of my other online connections. That, combined with the phenomenon of many players experiencing the spikes at the same time, makes it seems fairly obvious that the problem is on ANet's end. It's frustrating to see them playing the look-the-other-way game. I know they're probably under pressure to cover up their problems, or maybe they don't have sufficient staff to diagnose them (and are under pressure to cover that up)... but in any case, I think being forthcoming with the player community would go a long way!

Exactly the same experience as you! You and I must have the exact same everything! Same computer, same part of the world, same connection to the internet, same routers, same carriers, etc. etc. etc.
OR, we are connecting to the same place/game?
I wonder which one is more likely?

I have been getting some lag, around 200-300ns. It's not bad for PvE other than trying to interrupt, but too bad to attempt PvP.

Also in Scotland, also disconnected twice in a 10 min timeframe, also pissed off.

Why doesn't it let me reconnect to my explorable then kick me to the login screen, but let me back in to to town immediately with no hesitancy?

East coast USA here and have also been having horrible dc and 007 increase lately (really bad this month). At first I thought it was my internet, which sometimes randomly goes crazy. Yet sometimes GW has dc'd on me and my other internet stuffs work just fine. After trying to vq something 3+ times, being in a mission, etc. and getting dc'd and 007'ing when almost done, well it gets rather sickening...
